All-New UFC Heavyweight Rankings After UFC 333: Alexander Volkov Earns Title Shot With Latest Win

Alexander Volkov bounced back at UFC 333, outworking fellow Russian Rizvan Kuiev on the main card to earn a unanimous decision win. The victory moves Volkov into contention for a heavyweight title shot, likely against the winner of the UFC 334 championship bout between Cyril Gane and Josh Hokit.

The updated heavyweight rankings also show Rizvan Kuiev (15‑4‑1) maintaining a top‑10 spot after his loss, while Vitor Petrino (15‑2) climbs after a successful move up from light heavyweight and a recent win over Sergei Spivac. Dominican contender Waldo Cortes Acosta (17‑4) fell out of the contender conversation following defeats to Volkov and Curtis Blades, and Blades (20‑6) remains a ranked veteran despite mixed results.
