All 18 Big Ten teams ranked by offensive efficiency through Week 7

Following the first seven weeks of college football, advanced metrics reveal how every squad in the Big Ten measures up offensively. The Indiana Hoosiers currently pace the entire conference with a robust figure of 85.1 on a hundred-point scale, putting them third in the nation despite a recent setback against Ohio State.

Meanwhile, the USC Trojans follow closely behind in second place within the league and fifth overall, while the Buckeyes hold the third spot in the conference.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, nine different programs received failing grades below sixty points. The Minnesota Golden Gophers anchor the bottom of the rankings with a mark of 35.8, sitting at ninety-ninth in the country right behind the Maryland Terrapins.

Evaluations are calculated using per-play contributions to scoring margins while factoring in the quality of opposing defences.
