Alex de Minaur has provided a positive update on his physical condition ahead of his opening match at the Vienna Open, confirming that a recent ten-day break has allowed him to fully recover from issues that surfaced in Beijing and Shanghai. After retiring during a final against Novak Djokovic due to an injury, the Australian athlete managed a quarter-final run at the Shanghai Masters before taking time off for rehabilitation and rest.

Now fully healed, he prepares to face Tomas Machac in the first round of the ATP 500 tournament.
