Aaron Judge remains unsure for ALDS after missing Yankees’ first-round win over Red Sox

Following a two-game sweep of their opening-round opponents by identical 9-2 and 9-0 scores, New York Yankees captain Aaron Judge remained uncertain regarding his availability for the upcoming Division Series. Sidelined since mid-September due to a strained right calf, the slugger spent the team's latest victory participating in live batting practice at a minor league facility in Somerset, New Jersey, while continuing a strenuous daily rehabilitation routine.

Manager Aaron Boone provided further injury updates regarding the pitching staff, confirming that Clarke Schmidt will miss the remainder of the campaign following a brief return from elbow surgery and a subsequent biceps issue. Meanwhile, left-hander Ryan Weathers prepared to throw a bullpen session at Yankee Stadium as he works back from a forearm flexor strain.
