New York outfielder Aaron Judge has been left off the postseason roster for the upcoming series against Tampa Bay as he continues recovering from a right calf strain. Judge missed significant time earlier in the year due to a rib fracture and managed just sixty-six total appearances during the campaign.
Teammate Giancarlo Stanton, who has been sidelined since late April with dual calf injuries, managed to retain his spot on the twenty-six player roster for the opening round. Additionally, squad adjustments saw left-hander Ryan Weathers join the pitching staff while utility player Amed Rosario was removed.
