2026 Wild Card Series Preview: Braves tangle with Phillies yet again

The Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies are set to collide in the postseason for the third time in five seasons. With both teams featuring revamped rosters and new managers, every game of the series will take place locally in Cobb County rather than Philadelphia.

Philadelphia enters the matchup exhausted after extending their playoff push all the way to Game 162. Pitching depth is a major concern for the visitors, who had to deploy Cristopher Sánchez, Aaron Nola, and Zack Wheeler down the stretch, while Jesús Luzardo is being rushed back from shoulder inflammation.
