‘Would Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham get the same pass?’: Craig Carton blast WNBA after A’ja Wilson fan altercation

Sports commentator Craig Carton recently criticized the WNBA following a playoff game altercation involving Las Vegas star A’ja Wilson and a spectator. Although Wilson received an on-court technical foul, league officials declined to impose any additional penalties ahead of a crucial postseason matchup against the Indiana Fever.

Carton argued during his program that the league applied a double standard, suggesting that players like Caitlin Clark or Sophie Cunningham would have faced suspensions for similar behavior. The television personality accused league leadership of shielding certain players while treating others differently as the championship series progresses.
