Week 7 college football first look: Ohio State-Indiana, Notre Dame-BYU and a loaded SEC weekend

Week 7 of college football delivers a slate of high-stakes matchups featuring unbeaten teams and national title contenders. The Big Ten’s Ohio State Buckeyes face Indiana Hoosiers in a rematch of last year’s championship game, with quarterback Josh Hoover leading a Hoosiers squad aiming for its first regular-season win over the Buckeyes since 1988.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame travels to Provo for a clash with BYU, where quarterback CJ Carr will square off against Bear Bachmeier in a game spotlighted by ESPN’s *College GameDay*. The SEC’s Third Saturday in October brings Alabama and Tennessee together in a critical showdown between one-loss teams, while Missouri and Ole Miss could settle SEC playoff implications in a high-scoring battle.

Oklahoma State and Houston also meet in a prime-time Big 12 showdown, with Cowboys quarterback Drew Mestemaker looking to extend his touchdown streak.
