“The NBA needs to get its dog on a leash” - Fans erupt after Dream and Valkyries skip national anthem for third straight game

The Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries have sparked controversy by avoiding the national anthem for three consecutive WNBA Finals games. This protest has drawn criticism from figures like JD Vance and Linda Cohn, while some argue that league regulations do not mandate player presence on the court.

In Game 3, the Dream secured a 97-71 win, taking a 2-1 series lead. The games in San Francisco have highlighted a shift in the WNBA's official anthem policy.
