‘Stephanie White Is Next,’ ‘One of the Worst GMs’ – WNBA Fans React to Amber Cox’s Firing As Fever Undergo Massive Front Office Overhaul

The Indiana Fever are undergoing a major leadership change after finishing a 28-16 season. General manager Amber Cox, who joined the team in October 2024 after serving as the Dallas Wings' COO for two years, has been dismissed.

Team president Kelly Krauskopf, who has been with Pacers Sports & Entertainment since 1999, is also stepping down. These moves follow a first-round playoff exit where the Las Vegas Aces defeated Indiana 94-83 in Las Vegas on October 1.

Fans have reacted with a mix of celebration and criticism toward Cox, while some speculate that head coach Stephanie White will be the next to leave. Despite these rumors, reports indicate White is remaining with the team for now.

Meanwhile, the team faces the free agency of star guard Kelsey Mitchell, a four-time All-Star and long-time Indiana player who led the team in scoring.
