Star batsman Virat Kohli revealed that his dismissal during the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup title clash still haunts him frequently. Reflecting on his exit for 54 runs against Australia, the veteran admitted he often dreams about how the outcome might have changed had he converted his knock into a massive century.

During the title match at Narendra Modi Stadium, Kohli was removed by Pat Cummins in the 29th over after chopping a short-of-a-length delivery onto his own stumps. That breakthrough ended his 67-run partnership alongside KL Rahul, leaving India to be bowled out for 240 before the opposition secured a six-wicket victory.
