‘Sick to my stomach’: Florida coach does not hold back on ’embarrassing performance’

Following a massive victory over the Ole Miss Rebels, the Florida Gators suffered a stunning blowout defeat against the Missouri Tigers on Saturday afternoon at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Florida head coach Jon Sumrall expressed intense frustration after the contest, stating that he felt physically ill about the dismal outcome and calling the effort an embarrassing display.

Missouri rolled up 560 yards of total offense behind standout contributions from Austin Simmons, Jamal Roberts, and Cayden Lee, handing coach Eli Drinkwitz his initial regular-season victory against a top-10 opponent. On the other side, Florida struggled mightily as quarterback Aaron Philo and running back Jadan Baugh failed to ignite an offense that had previously scored at least 44 points in every prior outing this season.
