‘She Deserves Her Flowers and Everyone’s Respect,’ ‘She’s My Finals MVP’ — 2-Time WNBA All-Star Raves About Angel Reese’s Turnaround With Dream

The Atlanta Dream have seized a 2-1 series lead over the Golden State Valkyries in the WNBA Finals after dropping the opening game. Angel Reese has been instrumental in this recovery, recording a double-double in every contest thus far, including a 30-point performance in Game 2 and 21 points in the Game 3 victory.

Chiney Ogwumike has publicly identified Reese as her choice for Finals MVP, citing her transformative impact on the Atlanta roster. Supporting efforts have been critical to the turnaround, with Rhyne Howard setting a Finals record of six steals in the second game and adding five more in the third.

Allisha Gray has provided consistent scoring, while Jordin Canada contributed 13 points, 10 assists, and 7 rebounds during the Game 2 win. The teams are scheduled to meet for Game 4 this Saturday.
