New Zealand skipper Mitchell Santner has warned his bowling unit about the enduring threat of seasoned batting stars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, noting that both veterans continue to deliver heavy run tallies despite their advancing years. Santner also pointed to the heavy firepower present in India's aggressive top order ahead of the upcoming white-ball series, highlighting young attackers capable of launching offensive plays right from the opening delivery.
To counteract this intense pressure, the visiting captain stressed that his bowlers must focus heavily on dot balls and wicket-taking deliveries between boundaries, while keeping totals around 200 in mind. Santner himself brings extensive international experience against India across all three formats, having claimed 23 Test wickets, 17 ODI wickets, and 23 T20I wickets throughout his career.
