Tour of Guangxi: Milan Fretin pips Biesterbos to stage 3 victory after well-placed Paul Magnier unclips during sprint

Milan Fretin secured a victory on the third stage of the Tour of Guangxi, navigating a chaotic sprint to edge out Frits Biesterbos. While Fretin claimed the win, the race lead shifted to Biesterbos, who now holds the red jersey heading into the next stage.

The day was marked by a mechanical mishap for Paul Magnier, who lost his momentum after his foot slipped from his pedal during the final sprint. Jordi Meeus and Fabio Jakobsen rounded out the top four finishers in the 212km trek from Jingxi to Bama.

Earlier in the day, a breakaway group featuring Jasha Sütterlin, Tobias Bayer, and Wang Ruidong animated the stage, with Wang securing the King of the Mountains jersey before the pack consolidated for the finish.
