'Not everybody will be happy with the decisions we'll have to take, but we welcome that' - Lidl-Trek management recognise potential pitfalls of their star-studded lineup for 2027

Lidl-Trek management has acknowledged the complexities of managing a roster-heavy lineup for 2thoughtful analysis of the 2027 season. Key arrivals include Filippo Ganna, Felix Gall, Jordan Jegat, Jordi Meeus, and Héctor Alvarez.

The team also retains top talent like Juan Ayuso, Derek Gee-West, Matthias Skjelmose, Mads Pedersen, and Jonathan Milan. However, they have lost Giulio Ciccone and Tao Geoghegan Hart.

Josu Larrazabal, the head of performance, noted that while managing such a deep squad requires difficult decisions and clear communication to handle egos, the team's goal is to secure victories, a Monument, and a Grand Tour.
