NFL MVP race entering Week 4: Josh Allen stays No. 1, but the field is closing fast

Josh Allen maintains his hold on the top spot of the weekly Most Valuable Player assessment entering Week 4, though his advantage has narrowed. Buffalo's signal-caller added two rushing touchdowns during the latest slate alongside a pair of interceptions, putting him in company with Jim Brown, Stephen Davis, and Priest Holmes.

Meanwhile, Seattle wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba climbed to second place following a stellar performance despite a 33-31 defeat against Washington, putting him on a record-breaking statistical pace.
