New Zealand concluded their five-match T20I series against India with a seven-wicket win in the final encounter. Chasing a target of 191, the hosts reached the required total in 18 overs, led by Tim Seifert's 93-run performance off 50 deliveries.
Although India secured the overall series 3-2, the home side successfully adjusted their strategy to win the final two matches after dropping the first three. Seifert noted that the team improved their execution during critical moments compared to their earlier narrow losses in Christchurch.
He specifically credited the squad for better adapting to the conditions after a difficult defeat in Wellington, where Abhishek Sharma and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi helped India dominate.
