Mohammad Yousuf has suggested that Babar Azam should seek professional coaching in South Africa or Australia to overcome his recent batting difficulties. This recommendation follows a lackluster performance by the former captain during the recent tri-series final.
While Babar has struggled to maintain his previous high standards, recording only one ODI century over the last three years and losing his spot in the T20 lineup, he remains scheduled to lead the national side in a two-Test series against Sri Lanka beginning November 9. To prepare for this upcoming challenge, he plans to participate in a first-class match for Lahore in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy starting November 3.
Despite the criticism, figures such as Waqar Younis and Imad Wasim have publicly supported him.
