‘It's not that serious': Bryce Harper's mindset on mistakes keeps Phillies alive

Philadelphia outfielder Bryce Harper experienced major swings in performance during Wednesday elimination action against Atlanta. After driving in a run early, a defensive miscue in the seventh inning allowed the opponents to grab a lead before Harper atoned with a crucial home run in the eighth frame to help extend his club postseason run.

Following the contest, the veteran batter noted that lifelong competitive exposure and reflections regarding his son helped him mentally reset past the error. With the victory secured in extra frames, the squad prepares for the upcoming series conclusion.
