'It's longer than lot of tournaments' - McInnes against extended break

Rangers manager McInnes has voiced his opposition to the current lengthy break in the schedule, despite his team entering the hiatus on a streak of six consecutive wins. This successful run includes back-to-back victories over Celtic in both the League Cup and the Premiership, helping to stabilize the club following a challenging start that featured an early exit from European competition.

McInnes, who earned the Premiership manager of the month award for September, remains focused on maintaining this momentum. During a recent visit to the training ground, the manager hosted Sir Alex Ferguson for lunch.

The legendary former Manchester United boss offered encouragement regarding the difficulties of a transition period, drawing on his own career experiences to support the current Rangers staff.
