During Game 4 of the WNBA Finals at State Farm Arena, the Atlanta Dream fell to the Golden State Valkyries by a score of 67-62. Forward Angel Reese struggled offensively, scoring only eight points and grabbing nine rebounds in over thirty minutes of action while committing six turnovers.
Despite her stellar postseason run where she previously averaged 21.7 points and 13.3 rebounds, the Valkyries' defense managed to limit her impact, leading to a new statistical low for the young star.
Following the defeat, Reese admitted she rushed her attempts and failed to execute near the basket. Teammate Rhyne Howard paced Atlanta with nineteen points, alongside double-digit contributions from Jordin Canada and Isobel Borlase.
The Valkyries successfully tightened their defensive performance after surrendering high point totals in previous outings, holding the Dream to just 62 points and leveling the series.
