‘I want him to reach that mark’: Gavaskar’s special wish for Rohit before retirement

Sunil Gavaskar recently expressed a distinct ambition for Rohit Sharma prior to the batter concluding his international career. During the third fixture of the one-day international series against the West Indies, Rohit contributed ninety-two runs from eighty-five deliveries, hitting ten boundaries and three maximums.

Despite that performance, the Indian squad was defeated after the opposing team successfully overhauled a target of three hundred and fifty-two runs. The successful chase was anchored by the visiting skipper, Shai Hope, who remained not out with an individual score of one hundred and sixty-two runs.
