Colorado coach Deion Sanders expressed confusion regarding the limited utilization of Travis Hunter by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Sanders noted that he is uncertain about the internal dynamics in Jacksonville, despite having a deep understanding of his former player's capabilities from their time together in college.
Jaguars coach Liam Coen addressed the situation by acknowledging offensive struggles and indicating that the team plans to look for ways to increase Hunter's involvement moving forward. During the previous week's defeat against the Denver Broncos, Hunter participated in only sixty percent of the defensive plays for Jacksonville.
Last season, his offensive snap counts decreased before a knee injury prematurely ended his rookie campaign. Hunter previously excelled as a two-way standout at Colorado, where he regularly played an exceptionally high volume of snaps on both sides of the ball.
