‘Cheated So Much at Michigan,’ ‘Could Fix Arkansas’ — CFB World Has Mixed Reactions to Analyst Speculating on Jim Harbaugh’s Return to College

Following a winless opening stretch for the Los Angeles Chargers, analyst Dan Wolken has floated the possibility of Jim Harbaugh eventually returning to the college ranks. Such a move faces massive administrative hurdles, most notably an NCAA penalty structure that keeps the former Michigan boss subject to show-cause restrictions extending all the way through 2038.

Reactions across the sport quickly highlighted both his previous championship success and his heavy disciplinary record. PFN tracking notes that quarterback Justin Herbert has struggled through the initial trio of games with a low grade and several turnovers, keeping the spotlight fixed on the professional sideline while observers debate a hypothetical collegiate comeback.
