Chargers' worst-case scenario has come to life with nowhere for Justin Herbert, Jim Harbaugh to hide

The Chargers fell to 1-1 following a 26-14 defeat against the Raiders, marking their second consecutive loss by that exact scoreline. A series of costly miscues derailed their scoring chances, including a bobbled deep pass intercepted by Jermod McCoy, a botched snap striking Tre Harris in motion, and a crucial late fumble by Omarion Hampton.

Quarterback Justin Herbert expressed dissatisfaction with the performance after a contest plagued by turnovers and penalties. Head coach Jim Harbaugh praised his squad for displaying fight despite the mounting errors that currently place the team near the bottom of league ball-security metrics.
