Zizou Bergs speaks for the first time after his shock win over Carlos Alcaraz at the Shanghai Masters

Zizou Bergs achieved the most significant victory of his professional career by defeating Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets at the Shanghai Masters. Although Bergs faltered slightly while attempting to serve out the contest, he quickly recovered to dominate the subsequent tiebreak.

In his post-match remarks on the court, the Belgian reflected on his initial disbelief and discussed how previous encounters against elite opponents like Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner had taught him to avoid being intimidated by legendary reputations. Meanwhile, Alcaraz struggled immensely on the court, committing a high volume of unforced errors that ultimately contributed to his early exit.
