Zimbabwe's Taylor takes over from Tendulkar as longest-serving ODI player

Zimbabwean cricketer Brendan Taylor has officially surpassed Sachin Tendulkar to become the individual with the longest span of service in One Day International cricket history.

By overtaking the longstanding tenure previously held by the Indian batting icon, the veteran representative from Zimbabwe now stands alone atop the rankings for longevity in the fifty-over format.
