Zack Baun, DeVonta Smith miss practice for Eagles

Ahead of their upcoming matchup against the Rams, the Philadelphia Eagles held a Wednesday training session without several key contributors. Linebacker Zack Baun was sidelined due to a concussion following a heavy workload of 66 defensive snaps during a Monday night defeat against the Chicago Bears.

That condensed recovery window complicates his chances of clearing the mandatory concussion protocol prior to kickoff.

Alongside Baun, wideouts DeVonta Smith and Hollywood Brown sat out alongside tight end Dallas Goedert, offensive lineman Fred Johnson, and running back Will Shipley. Brown, Goedert, and Johnson had already missed the previous loss to Chicago.

Meanwhile, linebacker Jihaad Campbell and defensive tackles Jordan Davis and Moro Ojomo participated in a limited capacity, while several others practiced fully without restriction.
