Yash Dayal included in Uttar Pradesh squad for Ranji Trophy 2026-27

Yash Dayal is set to return to competitive cricket after a lengthy hiatus, having been named in the Uttar Pradesh roster for the upcoming Ranji Trophy campaign. The left-arm pacer has not played since his appearance in the 2025 Indian Premier League final.

Alongside Dayal, spinner Zeeshan Ansari makes his return to the state side following a six-year absence from the format. The squad, led by wicketkeeper-captain Aryan Juyal, also features established domestic talents including Rinku Singh and Priyam Garg.

Uttar Pradesh will begin their season on October 11 against Bihar.
