Yankees Notes: Aaron Boone gives status update on Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton ahead of Wild Card series

New York manager Aaron Boone addressed reporters regarding his team's health ahead of the postseason Wild Card opener against Boston. Key slugger Aaron Judge has been participating in hitting and throwing drills after missing the end of the regular schedule due to a calf issue, though team leadership stopped short of confirming his exact defensive assignment or game-one active status.

Giancarlo Stanton also remains questionable for the upcoming playoff matchup following a lengthy absence caused by multiple leg strains. Meanwhile, returning contributors Trent Grisham and Ryan Weathers are expected to participate in team workouts as decision-makers evaluate the final roster configuration.
