Yankees news: Should Boone Stay or Should Boone Go

Debate continues regarding Aaron Boone's future as Yankees manager, with critics citing a lack of championship success over his nine-year tenure. Despite this pressure, he may remain in the role due to his remaining $5.5 million salary and potential complications from a looming lockout.

Meanwhile, prospect Dax Kilby is drawing praise for his performance in the Arizona Fall League following an injury-plagued season. Veteran first baseman Paul Goldschmidt is also looking to continue his career in 2027 after posting a 111 OPS+ with 18 home runs during the 2026 campaign.
