Yankees must stay away from Trent Grisham in center in the ALDS

Following an opening postseason series against Boston, concerns have grown regarding outfielder Trent Grisham's mobility in center field while recovering from recent hamstring trouble. Analysts pointed to a defensive sequence where his tracked speed dropped significantly, allowing an extra base that rookie Spencer Jones might have prevented due to greater athleticism.

With an upcoming matchup against the Tampa Bay team, observers argue the club must limit Grisham's defensive workload to avoid exposing a vulnerability in the outfield.
