WNBA Playoff Preview: Liberty at Lynx Game 1 Thread

The Minnesota Lynx and New York Liberty are set to collide in the opening matchup of their playoff series, reigniting tensions following the disputed 2004 championship. Rookie sensation Olivia Miles enters the postseason carrying significant expectations after missing time with a calf issue, anchoring a Minnesota squad that performed exceptionally well with her on the floor.

Meanwhile, New York looks to lean on formidable frontcourt talents like Breanna Stewart and Jonquel Jones to counter Minnesota, despite vulnerabilities in their backcourt defense involving Sabrina Ionescu, Marine Johannes, and Pauline Astier.
