WNBA MVP voter shares why Caitlin Clark wasn’t in his top 5

The latest WNBA award voting has sparked intense debate after a ballot revealed that Caitlin Clark was left off a voter's top-five list entirely. While A'ja Wilson secured her fifth MVP award, the final rankings generated controversy by placing Clark fourth overall, trailing rookie Olivia Miles and teammate Kelsey Mitchell.

The ballot author defended the decision by citing Mitchell's historic scoring efficiency and defensive contributions, while noting concerns over Clark's turnovers. Critics, however, argue that omitting Clark completely overlooks the gravity of the defensive pressure she absorbs to create opportunities for her squad.
