Game 6 of the 2026 WNBA Finals between the Connecticut Dream and the Las Vegas Aces was moved to a Thursday afternoon, kicking off at 12:30 p.m. ET in Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.
The shift was made to accommodate the Hawks’ schedule and other arena commitments, allowing the Dream to play before the NBA game later that day.
Despite concerns that the early start would hurt viewership, the matchup averaged 1.5 million viewers across USA Network, E!, SYFY and Peacock, making it the fifth‑largest cable audience in Finals history and out‑performing the prime‑time Game 2 (1.33 million) and Game 5 (1.43 million). The series’ other games drew 2.1 million (Game 1), 1.71 million (Game 3), and 1.895 million (Game 4) viewers, underscoring Game 6’s strong showing despite the unconventional timing.
