Winners and Losers from a disappointing Seahawks loss to the Commanders

Seattle suffered a disappointing 33-31 defeat against Washington, marking a rare early setback for Mike Macdonald and his squad. Despite the final outcome, Sam Darnold excelled through the air by completing 31 of 45 passes for 379 yards and four touchdowns while expertly avoiding sacks, though his costly pick-six proved difficult to overcome.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba led the receiving corps with ten catches for 128 yards and two scores, while also contributing a 14-yard completion to George Holani. Additional receiving contributions came from Tory Horton, Cooper Kupp, A.J. Barner, and Eric Saubert as the offense diversified its targets.
