Why Yoshinobu Yamamoto won’t pitch until Game 3 in Dodgers playoffs

Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts has outlined the pitching sequence for the upcoming playoff round, ensuring Yoshinobu Yamamoto takes the mound for the third game. Tarik Skubal will open the series in the initial matchup, while Blake Snell takes seconding pitching duties on Sunday.

The scheduling choice allows Yamamoto to maintain his regular interval between outings following a recent simulated game during the team bye week.
