
Following the conclusion of the 2026 campaign, the St. Louis organization is evaluating pitching vacancies for next year after finishing below the five hundred mark.
While Andre Pallante, Kyle Leahy, and Michael McGreevy hold guaranteed spots, injuries to Hunter Dobbins and Richard Fitts alongside regression from Matthew Liberatore have created openings in the starting group. Quinn Mathews has emerged as a frontrunner for a role following a strong finish to the season where he yielded three runs or fewer in eight out of nine appearances.
Manager Oliver Marmol noted that Mathews enters the upcoming phase in a similar position to how McGreevy secured his spot previously.
