Where Texas A&M sits in ESPN FPI rankings after losing to LSU

Following a lopsided 35-6 defeat against LSU over the weekend, Texas A&M fell completely out of the AP Top 25 and the US LBM Coaches Poll. Quarterback Marcel Reed struggled mightily through the air, completing just 10 of 26 passes for 106 yards as head coach Mike Elko and his staff face mounting scrutiny over the team's offensive and defensive direction.

Despite the struggles, the Aggies slid five spots to No. 16 in the latest ESPN Football Power Index with a 15.1 rating.

ESPN metrics currently project the squad to finish the remainder of the regular season with roughly six wins, alongside slim postseason probabilities.
