When is the EFL Cup fourth round draw?

The 2026-27 Carabao Cup fourth round draw is scheduled for Wednesday, 16 September, airing live on Sky Sports right after Manchester United face Brighton & Hove Albion in an 20:00 BST third-round clash. The third round itself spans a fortnight, having kicked off on Tuesday, 8 September, and will conclude on Thursday, 17 September when Manchester City host Norwich City to finalize the last 16 clubs.

A minimum of 11 top-flight clubs are guaranteed spots in the upcoming phase, with two all-top-tier encounters scheduled for Wednesday. Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur, Leeds United, Nottingham Forest, Ipswich Town, and Hull City have bowed out of the tournament.

Qualified squads will contest their fourth-round ties during the week starting Monday, 26 October.
