What signing Matt Pryor means for the Patriots

Following back-to-back injuries to Mike Onwenu and Greg Van Roten at right guard, the New England Patriots have added veteran Matt Pryor to their active roster from the Arizona Cardinals practice squad. The move comes in the wake of a 35-6 defeat against the Jacksonville Jaguars, where replacement Walter Rouse struggled after entering in the second quarter.

Pryor brings extensive experience with over a hundred appearances and forty starts across multiple offensive line positions, though competition for the starting role also involves Ben Brown.
