Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh recently shared details regarding a conversation with his brother, New York Giants coach John Harbaugh, prior to a recent quarterback trade. Jim expressed strong support for signal-caller J.J.
McCarthy moving to the Giants organization. McCarthy previously captured a collegiate national championship with Michigan during the 2023-24 season, compiling nearly three thousand passing yards along with twenty-two touchdowns and four interceptions.
Following a selection at number ten overall by Minnesota in 2024, McCarthy missed his entire rookie year due to knee surgery before recording six wins and ten losses as a starter the following year, alongside twelve interceptions and eleven scoring throws. During his first workout in New York, the quarterback took snaps behind Jameis Winston and Jake Haener.
