West Ham were right to be ruthless with Nuno, but are they right about Scott Parker?

Following a three to one defeat against West Bromwich Albion, West Ham United decided to dismiss their manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, after a thirteen month tenure. The fifty-two year old coach leaves the club sitting eighth in the standings one quarter of the way through the campaign, despite having the highest-scoring squad in the division.

Nuno previously took over from Graham Potter in late September following a relegation from the Premier League. The team has recorded six wins, four draws, and three losses this season, while conceding the opening goal in nine of their sixteen total matches across all competitions.
