Week 6 AP Top 25: Texas A&M remains unranked after ugly Missouri loss

The Week 6 AP Top 25 college football rankings delivered another round of volatility, with Texas A&M failing to secure a spot after a dismal 27-6 defeat to Missouri. The loss marked another setback for SEC teams, as Georgia capitalized on the chaos by climbing to the No.

1 position following a narrow 20-17 victory over Alabama. Meanwhile, Texas, LSU, and Oregon all suffered defeats, forcing voters to reassess their rankings.

Oklahoma also made headlines with a stunning upset win over Texas, adding to the week’s dramatic shifts. The SEC’s title race tightened further as Georgia took control, while other powerhouse programs faced unexpected challenges.

With three top-10 teams falling in a single weekend, the Week 7 poll is poised for another major shakeup, leaving fans and analysts scrambling to predict the next No. 1 team.
