Watch Minnesota coach PJ Fleck wipe his player’s blood on his own face in bizarre celebration

Following a tight conference victory, Minnesota head manager P.J. Fleck captured national attention through an unusual celebration involving one of his athletes.

After securing a 27-24 triumph against Washington, Fleck embraced linebacker Maverick Baranowski on the turf and smeared a small amount of blood from the player's mouth onto his own cheek. Baranowski suffered the minor facial injury from an opponent's cleat during the final sequence of the contest.

Describing the linebacker as his blood brother, the leader later compared the unusual act to historical frontiersmen.
