
Golden State head coach Steve Kerr recently admitted he had no idea star guard Stephen Curry was battling a progressive vision disorder called keratoconus during some of his most dominant seasons. Curry ultimately received the diagnosis back in 2018 after former executive Bob Myers spotted him squinting on television broadcasts and prompted an examination.
Kerr expressed genuine astonishment upon learning the truth, noting that nobody had informed the coaching staff about the issue while the sharp-shooter maintained elite statistical output entirely through muscle memory.
