Wanted: A one-day game that at least gives bowlers a chance

During a recent One Day International encounter in Guwahati, West Indies posted a total exceeding 400 runs for the first time in the format. Despite this milestone, India successfully chased down the target in 43.3 overs while losing only two wickets, aided by a double century from Shubman Gill.

The fixture featured five individual centuries altogether, prompting India head coach Gautam Gambhir to express concern over the extreme advantage currently held by batters due to rule restrictions and friendly pitch conditions.
