Wake Forest scores an upset on the road, takes down No. 16 Louisville 30-27

Connor Calvert delivered the decisive kick in the closing moments to secure a narrow road victory for Wake Forest over the sixteenth-ranked Cardinals, locking down a final three-point margin. Gio Lopez spearheaded the offensive attack alongside Carlos Hernandez and Ty Clark III, while the defense capitalized on a crucial interception and a blocked field goal attempt in the dying seconds to preserve the upset.

Lincoln Kienholz engineered a fierce comeback effort for the home side, contributing significantly through the air and punching in multiple rushing scores, while Jaleel Skinner hauled in a long touchdown strike during the rally. Despite their statistical efforts, unforced mistakes including personal fouls, defensive breakdowns, and missed kicks ultimately doomed the hosts under coach Jeff Brohm.
