Vanderbilt QB Jared Curtis out vs. No. 2 Georgia: Who is backup Blaze Berlowitz

Vanderbilt quarterback Jared Curtis was held out of the lineup for the crucial Southeastern Conference showdown against second-ranked Georgia after failing to overcome an undisclosed injury sustained during a recent loss to Auburn. Coach Clark Lea verified the roster change before kickoff, leaving Curtis sidelined in sweats while backup Blaze Berlowitz took over under center.

Berlowitz stepped into the starting role having previously completed fourteen of twenty-five passing attempts for one hundred seventy-eight yards earlier in the year.
